Friends@Home

 The Friends at Home program gives volunteers the chance to get to know their Special Friends in the environment they are most comfortable in: their own homes.

Teens are professionally trained, by volunteer medical and health professionals, P.A.C.E. and C.A.R. staff and volunteers.  No teen is permitted to participate until basic training is completed.

Teens provide appropriate arts and crafts activities, book readings, or other planned age and developmentally appropriate activities.

Families report that the children very often wait all week for the moment their friend turns up on their doorstep!
