**Accomplished pianist Ophir Horovitz, age 17, from Los Altos, currently studies with Professor Hans Boepple of Santa Clara University. He is a 2018 YoungArts National Arts Competition Winner in Classical Music. In Summer 2017, Ophir made his radio broadcast debut with a solo performance on NPR's "From the Top" with host Christopher O'Riley. He has also performed at Carnegie Hall. This year, Ophir was inducted into the highly prestigious Young Artist Guild (YAG) of the Music Teachers' Association of California (MTAC).
